Studio KÔZ is a multidisciplinary design practice founded in Ahmedabad in 2023, operating across four verticals: Urbanism, Architecture, Design, and Design Research. The studio believes art is not decoration — it is infrastructure for human experience. Every project is built on the conviction that radical ideas, honestly pursued, create the strongest foundation for cities and the people who live in them

As an urban designer, my passion lies in transforming cities through the powerful fusion of art and urbanism. With a keen interest in social sciences, I constantly seek innovative ideas and creative approaches to shape the future of our urban environments. My forwardthinking mindset drives me to explore new possibilities and envision vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive cities. With my strong foundation in urban design, I am dedicated to positively impacting how we experience and interact with our cities, fostering a better quality of life for all residents.

Aftab is a versatile professional with expertise in problem solving through design, strategy and critical thinking. He is a professionally trained architect with expertise in Architecture, Urban Management, Art, Design, Strategy and Education. Currently, he is a Co-Founder + Design Director at Studio KOZ and Founder + Design Director at AP&C. He has worked in domains, projects and fields of architecture, design, landscape, events, art installations, water management, urban management, sustainability, strategy, branding, marketing and graphics. Alongside these roles, he passionately pursues art, photography, poetry, philosophy, and film making
MAYANK JINDAL
Partner, Principal Product Designer
Mayank is a multidisciplinary designer working across product design, art curation, exhibition design, and cultural storytelling. With a Bachelor’s in Product Design from CEPT University, his practice explores the intersection of contemporary design, traditional craft, art, and public installations. He has worked across product development, exhibition design, artisan collaborations, branding, sculpture, and installation projects, bringing together research, conceptual thinking, hands-on prototyping, and fabrication. At Studio KÔZ, he works across disciplines to connect craftsmanship, cultural narratives, and contemporary design thinking
